S-2000 QUICK SETTING MORTAR

Scope: The contractor shall be a qualified installer and shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install setting and grouting materials described herein on floors and walls as indicated on specifications and architectural drawings. Installation and mixing techniques shall conform to Tile Council of America Hand Book for Ceramic Tile Installation and Mixing Instructions as listed on the manufacturer's product label.

Material: Thin-set latex mortar used for setting most types of ceramic tile on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, when rapid setting is required (can be grouted in 2-4 hour range depending on temperature), shall be S-2000. S-2000 consists of Type I portland cement, specially graded silica aggregate (#7 on M.O.H. Scale of Hardness), water retention aid and anti-sag and anti-skinning aids, special accelerators; as manufactured by Summitville Tiles, Inc., Summitville, Ohio. Material shall meet or exceed ANSI A118.4. Color shall be color No. __________ .

Limited Warranty

Summitville Tiles, Inc. products meet all of the rigid standards required of Summitville Tiles, Inc., with regard to quality. Any alleged failure to conform to this warranty shall be communicated to Summitville Tiles, Inc. immediately after purchaser takes delivery of the product, and Summitville Tiles, Inc., at its option, if any non-conformity exists, shall refund the purchase price or replace the product. This warranty is in lieu of all warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or other warranties, expressed or implied, and correction of non-conformities in the manner above stated shall constitute fulfillment of all liability of Summitville Tiles, Inc., whether based on contract, negligence or otherwise.

Summitville Tiles, Inc. shall not be liable for special, indirect, of consequential damages, and the liability of Summitville Tiles, Inc., with respect to the sale or anything done in connection therewith, whether in contract of tort, under any warranty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the price of the product.
